The DGA463Z has a slide on/off switch and a variable speed control dial. Just select the correct speed for the material you’re working with. If there is any sudden variation in speed the Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) kicks in, shutting off the power as a safety measure.
It also benefits from Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which will change the cutting speed according to the load condition to give optimum performance. There’s an anti-restart function too, another safety device that prevents the wheel from kicking in unexpectedly after you’ve just been changing the disc or battery. And an added bit of ergonomic flexibility is the specially designed side handle which can be fixed to suit both right and left-handed operators.
